Does Loreleaf send my writing to the cloud?

No. Loreleaf has no accounts and no servers. Everything you create stays on your device, and the AI Muse runs entirely on-device. See the privacy policy for details.

What do I need for the Muse (AI features)?

The Muse — Name Forge, Story Sparks, and Deepen — is powered by Apple Intelligence and runs on-device. It requires an Apple Intelligence-capable device (for example, iPhone 15 Pro or newer, or an M-series iPad) with Apple Intelligence enabled in Settings. On other devices the Muse section explains that it's unavailable, and every other feature of Loreleaf works normally.

How do I create a relationship between two entries?

Relationships are authored from an entry's own page. Open any entry (a character, location, and so on), scroll to the Relationships section, and add a relationship pointing to another entry — you can give it a label like "hides from" or "rules over." Those connections then appear in the World Web, the map of how your lore connects.

How do I delete a world or an entry?

Entries: press and hold (long-press) the entry card and choose Delete from the menu. Worlds: long-press the world, choose Delete, and confirm — worlds ask for confirmation because deleting one removes all of its entries. Deletes are permanent, so remove with care.

Is there a free version?

Yes. Loreleaf is free to use with one world and up to twenty entries. Loreleaf Pro is a single one-time purchase (no subscription) that unlocks unlimited worlds, unlimited entries, and full Markdown export.

Can I get my writing out of the app?

Always. Loreleaf Pro exports any world as clean Markdown, so your story bible is never locked in. Your work is yours.

I bought Pro but it's not showing as unlocked.

On the paywall screen, tap Restore Purchases — this re-checks your App Store account and re-applies Pro. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you purchased with. If it still doesn't restore, email me and I'll help.

How do I attach images to an entry?

Open an entry and use the images section to add photos from your library (stored locally on your device). On Apple Intelligence-capable devices you can also generate a concept sketch with Apple's Image Playground.
